Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with

VastuLens is a service operated by Karthikeyan Natarajan (“VastuLens”, “we”, “us”), a sole proprietor trading as VastuLens. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Karthikeyan Natarajan.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, purchasing report credits, or otherwise using VastuLens, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Continued use after we publish an updated version constitutes acceptance of that version. You confirm you are of legal age and, if using VastuLens on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind it.

3. Nature of the service

This application provides AI-assisted Vastu analysis for informational and educational purposes. It is not a substitute for professional architectural, structural engineering, construction, legal or other professional advice. Vastu interpretations may vary by tradition and practitioner. Consult qualified professionals before making major construction or property decisions.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of every floor plan you upload. You confirm you have the right to upload it, and you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to produce your analysis and reports. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use VastuLens unlawfully; upload content you do not have rights to; commit fraud or send spam; infringe intellectual property; interfere with security (malware, probing, scraping, circumventing usage limits); reverse engineer or resell the rule engine; or present our reports as certified professional advice.

6. AI outputs and accuracy

Space detection and narrative text are generated with AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Scores and findings are produced by our deterministic rule engine, not by an AI model. You are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them, and reports are not a substitute for advice from a qualified architect, engineer or Vastu consultant. We may filter, refuse or remove content and outputs that breach these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the VastuLens software, rule set, documentation and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan or credits you have purchased.

8. Service level

We work to keep VastuLens available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Credits, payment and billing

Report credits are consumed when an analysis completes. If an analysis fails for technical reasons, the credit is not consumed. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are collected through our payment gateway, Razorpay, which processes your card, UPI, netbanking or wallet payment on our behalf. Card and bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and are never stored by us. See our Refund Policy.

10. Seller of record

Karthikeyan Natarajan is the seller and merchant of record for all orders placed on VastuLens and is responsible for the service, invoicing, customer support and refunds. Razorpay Software Private Limited acts solely as our payment gateway and is not a party to the contract between you and us. For any order, billing or refund question, contact support@vastulens.ai.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice where the risk requires it, for material breach of these Terms, non-payment or chargeback, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time. On termination your right to use VastuLens ends; we will give you a reasonable window to export your reports where lawful and practical, after which your data may be deleted.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VastuLens is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, data or goodwill, or for decisions made on the basis of a report. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not permit it. You indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your unlawful use of the service.

13. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: legal@vastulens.ai
